Make-up Show Live 2013 - REVIEW

Two weeks ago, I headed down to London town to attend the Make up show live @ The Hilton Metrapole.
I was given a press pass as a blogger and spoke to a lot of people about new products.

I purchased and tried a few so thought I'd give you my opinion on the brands I saw.

Cherry Coco.

This has to be my favourite out of them all, purely because of the products and how well my skin would take to them.
Cherry Coco specialise in hand-made body creams and soaps. I spoke to one of the girls at this stand and she was lovely, very down to earth and informative about the products.
Their soaps are very gentle, they do the cleaning job without stripping your natural oils, as well as adding moisture to the skin.
The body whips are lovely and rich, again so moisturising and the best part is that they're all natural and Preservative free.
Have a look at their products here as I promise they are worth a try.

Another brand I found really interesting was,

Diamond Blend

The "Cocktail of youth" All products are made from properties of Diamond and Marine Phytoplankton (known to be great for premature aging) claiming to help target the signs of aging. How fabulous.
Their products include the Diamond mineral face mask, eye patches, Feet, Elbows and Knee Lotion, Bio Gel Face Mask, Hand lotion and a 24hr Moisturiser.

I tried the Diamond mineral face mask on Friday night, I haven't seen any visible difference, but I will try the product again as I think you need to use them regularly to see a difference.

Lastly, one of my last favourites has to be..

MOTIVES

I love their products, I bought some to try before the show, when I saw the stand I was so happy as the Motives brand only sell online.
I had the chance to swatch the products.  I purchased yet another eyeshadow and the Lumiere de vie face cream (blogged about last week) This brand is my current favourite.

The girls at Motives were fabulous, so informing and welcoming. Thank you, ladies.

The show was great and directed to Women of Colour.
Some of the make-up brands such as Motives, Flori Roberts and Celebrity make-up artist AJ CRIMSON's products cater to darker skin tones. Something we seem to see less of in stores.

I had a great day, and hope to go back again next year.

Harrods.. Wishlist.. Part 2.

MICHAEL KORS!

From Clothing, to Watches to Handbags.. I've always loved everything Michael Kors does.
The watches are stunning and seem to be really popular at the moment.
I've been in love with most, if not all of the Handbags lol I'm a handbag lady.. I can't help it!
On to his Clothing though..

I look at the clothing by Michael Kors and I instantly think of KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN.
I've always said how I closely relate myself to her fashion style.
I love the dresses, in particular.
All dresses below are available at  http://www.harrods.com/brand/michael-kors/womens
How amazing would it be to add them all to your basket lol WISHING!

Soutache Lace Dress £999

Sheath Dress £499

Lace Shift Dress £449
I love these dresses, they are SO me, it's unreal and slightly depressing that I can't buy them all at once. All of the dresses above are available in Harrods' sale.
Does anyone else see what I mean when I relate them to Kourtney Kardashian?
So this was the last part of my wishlist. I'm working hard to make my wish come true..

Harrods.. Wishlist. Part 1.

Harrods is a luxury department store in the centre of London. For those who have never been, it's really great! I walk around like I own the place everytime I go haha (I wish!)

It got me thinking though.. If I could actually afford to buy handbags and clothing from there.. What would I buy? I will do a double post on this, discussing two different designers.

I dedicate my first post to HERVE LEGER dresses!

The celebrity world seem to love these dresses with a passion.
They are skin tight and look as though the suck everything in,
making you look trim and ever so sexy.

Kim Kardashian.

J to the L O

Our very own.. Cheryl Cole.
I saw this one on www.Harrods.com and I fell in love.
From shade to style, it looks great. I would never have imagined that I would ever like chic skin tight dresses, but I'm happy to say after going from a size 14/16 to now a 8/10.. I look at dresses like this and think.. THIS might actually suit me!!

Available at Harrods.com £2375.00
I adore Harrods and cannot wait to post again tomorrow. I have a big wishlist but I've condensed it down to two designers :)

Hopefully, my wish will come true one day and I will eventually own my own Herve Leger dress.

Birthday Fun!

Hi darlings. I apologise for not blogging in so long. The last week and a half have been very hectic.

On the week of my birthday I had the worst Chest Infection in the world *no exaggeration* So i was in bed for days! Just how I wanted to celebrate my birthday. So all my birthday plans were postponed.
I spent the last week celebrating in various different ways and loved every moment of it. Really makes you appreciate your amazing family & friends :)

I thought i'd share parts of it with you guys.

Before I start though, I thank you all for your amazing support, and i've not forgotten about the Giveaway. I'm still collecting bits to put into it :)
If you would like daily updates on my blog, 'Like' My FB page UnLeeshd Facebook Page <3

So, where do I start? Remember my birthday wish list? Well.. I did MOST things, I still haven't bought the Naked palette or gone to the beach! But i'm defo planning to!

One of the things I really wanted to do was go to London!..And I did :)

Shot glass came in very handy over the weekend ;)

Me & the cousin :)
We went on the London Eye which was beautiful, and what I think is a perfect date, so ahem if a certain someone is reading! *HINT HINT*

I also went to Madame Tussauds and posed with a few Bollywood actors as well as the gorgeous Russell Brand hehe
I treated myself to a couple perfumes in Harrods, why not. Birthday girl and all that :P hehe any excuse to spend money! *REVIEWS FURTHER DOWN*
So, that was London. I mentioned in my last post how I wanted CUPCAKES for my birthday. I've been working so hard at the Gym, I wanted a sugary treat. My lovely friend made me some homemade cakes. They were the YUMMIEST cakes ever!!

YUM!
I really fancied a new perfume. So I had a little browse. This perfume caught my eye straight away.. packaging and name! PRADA's Candy!
The packaging is so bright and well, I have the biggest sweet tooth so I thought ooo lets go have a sniff!

OH MY GOSH! It smells like candy floss & cupcakes, all mixed together hehe my absolute dream perfume. It's not over powering. It's sweet smelling but it isn't sickly sweet (Unless you soak yourself in it)
It's amazing. I love it :)

I also.. FINALLY bought CHANEL - CHANCE (eau tendre)

I worked in Fragrance a few years ago and I used to go over to the Chanel counter all the time, I'm slightly obsessed with their perfumes. But this one has to be my favourite.
It's very floral and very fresh. Has a similar sort of smell to D&G - Light Blue for Women. I love fresh fragrances. So glad I finally added it to my collection :)

What else have I done this weekend? lol Ah yes, I went out in my hometown for my birthday celebrations. I had such a great night. Lots n lots n lots of drinks were involved! My friends absolutely made my birthday :)
I also received all of your lovely birthday messages on Twitter, Thank you! Love you all x x x

Cheers! <3
P.S. I wore LOLA by Orly on my birthday night out! Stunning colour!

Hope you liked this post!
