A New Kind of Wishlist..

So.. I've recently been thinking about things I want to buy and try. I've seen so many bits online such as different types of food or products or even places I've never been to before. So I thought every season I'd do a post, kind of a bucket list but not as intense.

1. Try Sushi - The thought of Sushi doesn't excite me, I'll admit it. But it looks so pretty ha yes the visual appeals much more than the actual thought of raw fish.

2. Naked 2 Palette - As surprising as it is coming from a shopaholic like myself, I haven't bought any of the Naked palettes yet but I really want one and can't resist any longer.

3. Tom Ford Lipsticks - It's fair to say I might have a slight, new obsession. Violet Fatale is the next on my list.

4. Go to BICESTER SHOPPING VILLAGE! - I still haven't been and I'm more than determined to go in the next month to do some serious bargain shopping :)

5. Lastly, start TRAINING again. But this time I want to tone up properly ready for the summer time :)

Bye-Bye Dark Circles..

Hello my beauts and WELCOME to the newly vamped blog ;-)

You may have seen me mention how I'm on the search for a good eye cream.
I am possibly THE worst sleeper in the world. I wake up every 2-3 hours and always wake up early (Even on a weekend!)

It's slightly annoying, as it has a massive effect on my eye area. I have the 'tired' look all the time which isn't cool.

I've looked online and there is a very wide variety of eye creams out there. But I'd rather get your opinions before I settle on one. Here are a few of the many out there.
If you use a decent one, especially good for dark circles, Please get in touch.

Happy Herbal Birthday!

It's Herbal Essences 40th Birthday!!!! I have used their shampoo non-stop for the past three/four years. I use Hawaiian Coconut & Orchid.

I had to dedicate a post to this shampoo as it
1. SMELLS GORGEOUS!
2. Does wonders for my hair.

I used to use the matching conditioner however after using a hair oil and having naturally straight hair, I find using a conditioner as well as a hair oil makes it look slightly greasy and weighs it down quite a bit.

If anyone loves the scent of Coconut as much as I do, then this shampoo would be perfect for you!
It really leaves your hair looking and feeling beautifully soft and shiny.

I use hair oils to keep my long hair strong but this shampoo/conditioner on its own is lovely and so affordable.
The supermarkets usually have offers on this shampoo which is brilliant. We stock pile this shampoo in my house ha :)

Valentine's Day - Gift Ideas.

Hey my beauties! YES! It's that time of year again. Valentine's should be everyday if you're in a relationship and it shouldn't take a commercialised day to prove your love for one another. However, it is nice to go out for dinner and recieve/give a little present.

I've got a few idea's for great gifts.

1. Tom Ford Lipsticks - Lads, if your partner loves beauty/fashion, This is a perfect little gift for her. They do the most beautiful shades. Violet Fatale (Below)
£36 from Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Harrods.

2. Flowers - Don't for a second think flowers are overrated. I think simple things like a beautiful bunch of flowers are enough to uplift anyone's mood.

 3. Cupcake Bouquets - I think this is a brilliant idea. Only because I have the biggest sweet tooth of all but if you don't want to give a standard bouquet of flowers, go for a cupcake bouquet. This bouquet was made by Etam

Everyone knows how much of a cake lover I am, I've bought cupcakes from Etam a number of times.. stunning!

4. Photos - Something as simple as a framed photo of you both is such a cute and sentimental gift. If you have a bunch of photos, make a scrapbook.

5. Cook them a 3 course meal - Look through a bunch of recipe books or if you know what their favourite meal is, attempt to cook it ha!
Candles on, dress up, open a bottle of wine/champagne. Gorgeous.

Some of these gift ideas can be used for your men too!

Lost my Tom Ford Lippie-ginity.

I totally did. About a month ago, I went for a fab day out to Winter Wonderland. Obviously being in London and being a slight shopaholic, I had to buy a little something.
This is Diabolique from the Jasmin Rouge range. I both love and hate that I purchased this.

LOVE: The shade is the exact DEEP RED that I've been looking for for so many years. The matte finish and smooth application is everything I want in a lipstick. It's perfect!

HATE: It's LIMITED EDITION!! I can't use it as much as I want, this one will be a toughie to track down!

£36 from Harvey Nichols

SWATCH: I love the shade and richness of the lipstick. Absolute quality from Tom Ford which is what I expected. I've read a lot of reviews on these lipsticks and I'm so impressed.

I've worn this a good 4/5 times already, especially during the Christmas period. This shade of red was NECESSARY!
Here's me wearing the lush lipstick!

Tom Ford lipsticks? Opinions?

Eau de Lacoste - Review

Hi my loves. This post was written up last night but long story cut short. It's MY fault ha
I re-read my post before bed, on my phone and realised I'd spelt PREVIOUS like this "PERVIOUS"
There was no way in hell that I was going to leave it like that for 9 hours ha! I attempted to change it on my phone but I ended up deleting the whole post!
So here we go again..

I've always loved Lacoste fragrances for Men, I worked in fragrance for two years so I've been around them before.
Lacoste brought out a new women's fragrance last week.. Eau de Lacoste Pour Femme.
I can't say the women's fragrances have ever appealed to me. They're a little too 'casual' for me.
I prefer full and rich smelling perfumes, something that will linger all day long. Lady Million and Rihanna 'Reb'l Fleur' are my absolute favourites.
I'd say women's fragrances by Lacoste are more for the day time and I feel that they usually wear off after a couple hours. I tried the new fragrance..

Visually - The bottle has been inspired by a tennis ball. Very simplistic and pretty. It looks so cute! Yes! I'm actually describing it as CUTE!

The scent itself is beautiful. Very fresh, fruity and light. Again, it's a simplistic fragrance. I knew it would be what I expected, it's very much a day time fragrance, I wouldn't wear this at an evening dinner or night out.
It's definitely one to have in your collection if you're looking to spray something on you before work or before you go shopping etc.

Top notes
Pineapple, Mandarin, Bergamot
Heart notes
Pineapple Flower, Rose, Orange Flower
Base notes
 Sandalwood,  Vanilla, Peru Balsam

American actress, Amy Adams is the face of the fragrance.
Her make up is so pretty, natural and simple.. reflecting the fragrance and the bottle.

Pineapple & Vanilla are the winners for me!
Prices for this perfume range from £30-61. Sizes 30ml, 50ml, 90ml available.

Do you own any Lacoste fragrance? Thoughts?

Favourite Movie & Song of the Month.

I've decided this year I'm going to do a monthly post of what film I've enjoyed watching (could even be an oldie!) and my song of the month too.

So here we go.. the first post!

Movie of the Month.

PITCH PERFECT!

This film came out a couple months ago, but I finally watched it over the weekend. Let me tell you, I haven't laughed that hard in a while! I ended up ringing my cousins up and telling them to head over to the cinema and that it was a MUST watch!
Rebel Wilson who plays the character FAT AMY! is the best character, ever. I genuinely love her!

Song of the Month.

Back to Love - DJ PAULY D/JAY SEAN

I adore Pauly D. I loved his track 'Night of my life' which was my crazy gym tune for months and months!
I think the announcement of this track was made around Christmas day and I had the biggest smile on my face!
I've been eager to download this and especially since Jay Sean's one of our 'homies' ha I've listened to his music since I was a teen, from his Punjabi stuff with Rishi Rich to the Bollywood stuff to the YMCMB stuff!
Perfect combo!
I downloaded it first thing this morning and I've listened to it on repeat since ha! I think this track is one to watch out for.

Have a watch and a little listen, let me know what you think x

My Skincare Routine.

Hi there loves :) Hope everyone has had a lovely/safe day in the snow!
Onto this cold, wintery weather,
I've noticed that I've added new products to my skincare routine which I would like to share with you.
I've used Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish for over a year now and to be honest I don't think I'm willing to try anything else as this works perfectly for my skin. This isn't one of my new products but this is my current routine.
Most of you have used or come across this product at some point. For those that haven't, it's a little like a moisturiser but you steam/remove it using a hot muslin cloth (which comes with it) Using hot tap water you remove the cream from your face.
It's so refreshing! I use the Instant Boost Skin Tonic now and again. I usually use this in the morning as I feel my skin feels so much more refreshed and energised.

My next skincare product is, Elizabeth Arden's Visible Difference- Refining Moisture Cream Complex.

I had a little look online for a new face cream to wear daily. My skin sometimes gets a little dry during the colder seasons, I imagine a lot of people suffer from this too!
I read some amazing reviews on this product, as well as some of my lovely Twitter followers recommending it to me.
I'm loving this product.
I will be honest, the scent isn't too great but I try to dismiss it as it does wonders for my skin.
It has a strong citrus type scent to it which isn't really my 'thing' but like I said, I like what it does to my skin.
You don't need a lot of this and the best thing is, it lasts! I use it under my foundation and my skin looks and feels moisturised all day long.
I got a pack of two (75ml) for £29.99 which I think is a value for money considering how much I'm using on a daily basis.
I use this twice a day, in the morning after washing my face and then in the evening after a shower/before bed.
You can buy these from any department store (price may be different as this was a special offer)

Lastly, I blogged about this a couple weeks ago, I use Soap & Glory's Peaches & Clean every night.

I only use this one every night as my make-up comes off so well and so quick. It's such a light cream but once it touches water it turns into a milk which is super moisturising. It smells great and doesn't have those 'refreshing' type ingredients in to make your skin feel too energised. It makes the skin feel so clean and that's why I use it at night. I'm not one to use products that feel like they boost my skin at night time. I prefer to use those in the morning, hence why I use Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish in the mornings.

So this is my new skincare routine, very simple and I believe quite affordable in the long run!
Do you use any of these products?

Profectiv Growth Oil - First Review

I am slightly obsessed with hair oils at the moment. I did use the Moroccan oil once or twice at my local hair salon however, I think the oil is a little too expensive for my liking. Especially since I know that there ARE cheaper oils out there that do a similar job.
I've been using Kitoko oil for the last  few weeks which is a lovely hair oil.

I was recommended to go to an Afro-Carribean shop as they offer a wide variety of hair products.
Over the years, I've always gone to one in my hometown to buy food.. ha typical!
I even bought hair extensions from there during my 'Kardashian hair phase' ha ha!
They are absolutely great for hair products. I asked the lovely lady which oil I should buy as they had over 20 different varieties and without me even discussing which ones were best she pulled this one out and said "forget the other, this is the one for you!"

You just use it like a normal hair oil/serum. Use a pea size amount and run it through your DRY hair before heat styling is the best time to apply it.
I only bought this yesterday but I have a good feeling about it. My hair NEVER curls when I use tongs, It waves but never curls. I tried this oil out yesterday and totally forgot i'd put it in. I went to curl/wave my hair and noticed that the curls were actually curls and not waves.
They stayed put all night (6 hours)
I woke up this morning to find my hair was still curly.
I'm guessing it wasn't a coincidence and that it had something to do with this oil.

From what I've read on this product, I'm quite chuffed that it's now part of my hair care.
It has a tropical fruit (Pineapple. Passion Fruit) type scent to it which is so lovely. I keep smelling my hair :)
For £3.99 I don't mind if it doesn't work, but if it DOES, then this is a bargain!
I will revisit this hair oil in two weeks time :)
I've looked online and you can purchase this from £3-6 for the same size bottle (236ml)
This oil can also be used as a nail cuticle oil too or for dry skin.

Kitoko hair oil.. Part 2.

About two weeks ago, I wrote a post about Kitoko hair oil.. Click here to read about it!
http://unleeshd.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/kitoko-hair-oil.html

I have been running this through my hair everytime I wash my hair and after two weeks I've definitely noticed a difference.
The bottom of my hair seems to get super frizy after blowdrying. It usually looks really dry which is the reason I started using a hair oil in the first place. After two weeks of using this i've noticed how the frizz has completely calmed down.
My hair looks shiny and quite soft too.
At the moment i'm still unsure if I would buy the big bottle. I'm more intrigued by coconut oil which would be miles cheaper and feel more natural!
I will try a cheaper alternative as I would like the oil to make my hair longer and stronger. This oil is good but I do believe there is better out there.

New shoes, Happy UnLeeshd!

Just a short post, I'm a proper girlie girl when it comes to shoes & handbags. I ordered a few pairs of shoes in the Sale and had to share these babies.
Especially since they went from £49 to £25. BARGAIN BEAUTIFUL!

I've tried them on and they are so super comfortable! That wedge at the front is a god send.
Dorothy Perkins, I don't half love you sometimes!

Oh so Peaches & Clean!

HAPPY NEW YEAR PEOPLE!
Here's to New beginnings :)

Over the Christmas period I received so many Soap & Glory products. I love them!
I've been using this for over a week now and I HAD to write a post on it.
P.S. If anyone uses this, please let me know your views!

This 4 in 1 states how it Cleanses, Moisturises, Brightens and Purifies your skin.
I use this after a full day at work. I usually wear my MAC studio sculpt foundation everyday with a little Hoola by Benefit and a really dark liquid liner on the eye. This takes every bit of make-up off my face and makes it feel so soft.
I feel so refreshed once I've washed my face with this.

The cream is very light and is similar to Clarins 'Pure Melt' Gel. When you mix it with water it turns into a milky liquid.
I know this sounds like the most simplest of statements, but if you don't like the smell of peaches, this won't be for you.
I know it sounds pretty silly but this cleansing milk is very overpowering in it's scent.
I absolutely love the smell so I don't mind it at all but I can imagine it might put some people off.
My skin looks so clean and clear. I think this will be one of those products I can't live without of, early days, but I have a feeling!
