I came back from a fantastic trip yesterday. Nottingham city.

 I'd never been before, the only reason I went was because I'd bought tickets to see my beloved, favourite music artist BRUNO MARS!

I loved the atmosphere and how happy the people were. 

I'm sure you can all think of places where you've been and thought, "how miserable are the people here?"

I got such a good vibe and am dying to go back so I can shop properly and check the place out. I was really limited on time yesterday but the shopping in Nottingham seems amazing. 

The little Christmas market was adorable. Put me in a really good mood. 

Any place that makes you feel positive is a place worth revisiting. - Alisha Marie, 2013 ;-)

A massive thank you to Mercure Hotel for a lovely stay. 

We booked a suite which was so cosy and cute, perfect for 3-4 people. 

Cosy beds, a couple TV's, Sofa, mini bar, massive bathroom, quirky mirrors..a safe! ha. T

he staff were so friendly, even after my diva requests (Hot water bottle, more tea bags.. yes I'm a 24 year old Grandma!)

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay over in Nottingham.

It is in the town centre, so you are close to all the night life, shopping and restaurants.

Ready to shop. Hadn't taken a "selfie" in while.

The Bruno Mars gig was everything I expected and more. I searched for months and months for tickets to see him. I was so upset when I couldn't get tickets. 

Thank you to a lovely Twitter friend, I finally got what I was looking for.

I've been to see him before at a much smaller and intimate gig, he was amazing then and just as good now. 

Such a natural performer. I wish I could go to the Superbowl in the states to see him perform there too! I danced and jumped about so hard I actually think I've broken my little toe.. oops!

You might have guessed that I was a little over excited to see him if you follow me on Instagram and Twitter haha I couldn't contain my excitement.

Christmas for me is my favourite time of year, not only is it a beautiful religious event, but the magical feel you get is indescribable.
I am still such a big kid at Christmas. I wake up at 5/6am with my little sister to check our stockings lol I still get super excited! It's crazy.

There's a few things I really want this year though & I so hope I get them too ;-)

The Kardashian girlies recently released their Kollection here in the UK in SOME Dorothy Perkins stores.

Sequin & Glitzy clothing & accesories are my "thing" at the moment so I want this for all those Christmas parties I'll be attending this year.

I love Tan bags. Unfortunately, I cannot afford a big, Hermes tan burkin bag just yet, but this will definitely do. One thing I always look for in handbags is a handle like this one.. rounded and quite hard. I don't own any bags without this sort of strap. The Kardashian girls have got it spot on!

1. What's your favorite Christmas Movie?

Wow! Ok, my favourite American movie has to be The Santa Clause.. & my favo British movie has to be Nativity! If you haven't watched any of them, make sure you do this Christmas. Oh & The SNOWMAN! That's not really a film and I should only choose ONE but I can't enjoy my Christmas if I haven't watched any of these films :)

The Snowman, CH4 on Christmas Eve has been a tradition since I was a kid! Gives me goosebumps! <3

2. Are you on the naughty list or the nice list?

I've had my moments of being a complete idiot this year, but I'd say i've been nice.

4. Do you watch the Queen's speech?

Nope. I wish I could to be honest. I love the Queen. My house is a right madhouse round Christmas time as the whole family get together, sometimes up to 21 people, half of those being Kids!

5. Have you ever had a white Christmas?

I believe we have a few times actually. It's been lush! I like snow when you know you don't have to leave the house lol x

6. Where do you usually spend Christmas?
One year it'll be round mine, the next it'll be at my cousin's house. I love it! It's been like that since we were kids.. :)

7. What's your favorite Christmas song?
Ooo that's a tough one. One song never fails to give me goosebumps, just the first few seconds & I feel all Christmassy.. Mariah Carey.. All I want for Christmas :)
I also have a soft spot for Mistletoe by Justin Bieber which came out this year :)

8. What holiday tradition are you looking forward to most this year?
Me & the sissy always get up at 5am to check our stockings :P I know, i'm 22 but it's one tradition we keep. Makes Christmas 'magical'
We are starting a new tradition this year though. Got the idea from the Kardashians actually. Wearing matching Christmassy Pajama's on Christmas eve/Christmas day morning :) I think it's such a cute idea, so me, my sis & mum have the same ones hehe

9. Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?
I fail. haha my mentality is, as long as it's covered, who cares? It's what's on the inside that counts :P

10. What makes the holidays special for you?

Partying with my close friends & seeing old school friends in your hometown, always puts a smile on my face.
My family getting together, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents.. Love it!
