Glam Glow - Supermud Clearing Treatment - REVIEW

Hey beauties.. Happy Saturday!
If you follow me on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.. I'm sure you would have noticed photos of me with a mud mask on my face.. ha!
Hope it didn't scare anyone.
I've heard a lot of people raving about Glam Glow masks, so I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon too.
YES, I'm very easily influenced when it comes to beauty products.

I purchased the Supermud clearing treatment 2 weeks ago. I'm loving the fact that THIS was my first try at a mud mask. I will FOREVER buy mud masks now that I've tried this one by Glam Glow.

First of all, may I just say how angelic the packaging is. It's a right beauty.
 I know, I know..
"It's what's on the inside that counts.."
You're right, but it has to catch your eye in the first place, does it not?
As you can see on the packaging, this mask has received the "Insiders' Beauty Award" again, another reason for me picking this beauty up.

RRP £45 SPACE NK

If I could change anything about this product, I was a little disappointed at the size of the packaging, and the size of the actual product.
The packaging is lovely, but underneath all the layers leading up to the product, it was only a 34g tub. I know it says 34g on the packaging, I think compared to the packaging the product looks a little miniscule.

Negative aside, the product itself..
I've been using a thin layer of this stuff as it is so expensive. The glam glow girlies have informed me that it works just as well with a thin layer.. PERFECT.
There is no need to waste this product as it will run out so much quicker if you layer it on.

I painted it on with an old foundation brush, and waited. I didn't really know what to expect as I hadn't really read any in depth reviews on this product.
I slapped it on, and waited.. tick tock, tick tock ..

10 minutes later.. I couldn't move my face ha.. the dark mud had turned lighter due to drying out.
What was pretty cool also quite gross to see was the oil/dirt being lifted out of my skin. I had a lot of oil come from the pores on and around my nose and the chin area.

I used a wet flannel to remove the mask, it came off fairly easy.
I then used a few drops of pure coconut oil, and massaged it into my face. My face felt "plump"
ha! I know, what a word? It felt clean, but as though it all of a sudden had LIFE? Does that make sense?

Anyway, I've loved the product. Its now part of my wonderful, weekly wedding skincare routine.. (don't say that out aloud.. tongue twister!)
At £45 a tub, its a little expensive, however.. I love this product and will probably buy another tub once I run out.

UnLeeshd Haircare - 2014

Hi my little cherubs. I have been wanting to post every weekend, however you know whats going on in my life right now. I am so soo busy at all times, But here I am, writing away, doing what I love the most!
So here is my face.. incase you've missed it ha!

As some of you will be able to tell, my hair has grown.. a lot! I'm still loving the long haired look at the moment.
Although, after the wedding, its having a good chop.
How do I maintain my long locks? I hear you ask.
I recently purchased a tub of Pure coconut oil.. you can buy it for around £3/4. Don't give into the really expensive stuff.
The stuff I use is 100% refined ( I stand corrected) coconut oil by a food brand "KTC"
I've been massaging the tiniest amount into my scalp, once a week. It washes out with a normal shampoo, I don't use a conditioner! I wouldn't advise it unless your hair is super dry.

I've also been using this product by Fantasia.
Shea Butter hair moisturiser. For Dry, Damaged and Thirsty hair.
It has the same texture and consistency as Palmer's cocoa butter (not the same scent) It is a little peculiar. Its like massaging an actual moisturiser into your hair. You run it through  towel dried hair.
I was a little sceptical at first, it didn't however leave any grease, or residue on my hair.
I've fallen hard for this product.
I wouldn't advise this for people who don't get along with Silicon. My hair has taken to this product well. I bought a new bottle yesterday just to keep in my beauty cupboard.
I purchased this at a place called "Beauty Queens Cosmetics" as far as I'm aware, there are quite a few places like this in the UK.

So, this is my current haircare. I would love to know what you use to maintain your hair & also if you try any of these products, do let me know how you get on.
Lotsa love Leesh of UnLeeshd  x x x
